Serious Crash on Devon Road Leaves Audi Driver Critical
At 6.56pm on Saturday 15th May 2021, a serious two-vehicle crash rattled the B3178 in Knowle, Budleigh Salterton, Devon. A silver Audi A3 and a red Kia Niro collided, causing chaos on the country road.
Audi Driver Airlifted with Life-Threatening Injuries
The Audi driver suffered life-threatening and life-changing injuries. He was rushed by air ambulance to Derriford Hospital for emergency treatment. Meanwhile, the Kia occupants escaped with minor injuries.
Police Launch Forensic Investigation, Road Reopened
Local cops and the Alliance Roads Policing Team quickly attended the scene. After a thorough forensic investigation, the B3178 was cleared and reopened to traffic.
