Gosport Pub Slapped with £1,000 COVID Fine for Breaking Rules

The Jolly Roger on Priory Road, Gosport, has been hit with a £1,000 fine after flouting coronavirus restrictions on 24 October. Hampshire Constabulary issued a fixed penalty notice when the pub allowed groups bigger than six, dancing, and no social distancing or face masks when not seated.

Police acted following multiple complaints from concerned locals about the rule-breaking at the busy pub that evening.
