E4 Unveils New Doctors Line-Up for Embarrassing Bodies

E4 has revealed the fresh faces joining the hit series Embarrassing Bodies. Meet Dr Jane Leonard, Dr Anand Patel, and Dr Tosin Ajayi-Sotubo – the trio set to tackle medical mysteries, break down taboos, and offer real solutions for patients struggling with often ignored or untreated conditions.

Fresh Format Tackles Sexual Health with Celebrity Help

In a bold new twist, the show will zero in on major health and sexual health issues. Celebrity voices will join the action, pulling off stunts designed to spark Britain-wide conversations about these vital topics.

Plus, pop-up ‘confessional clinics’ will hit cities across the UK. These safe spaces will let people ask the doctors the awkward questions they’ve been too shy to raise – and get advice on embarrassing health problems hiding in the shadows.

Meet the Doctors Breaking the Stigma

Dr Jane Leonard

Dr Jane is a qualified NHS GP and cosmetic doctor, splitting her time between London, Liverpool, and beyond. With a first-class honours degree in anatomical sciences, her expertise lies in the face, head, and neck. She treats a diverse bunch from footballers’ wives to TV stars, tackling conditions from body dysmorphia to hirsutism (excess hair growth).

She’s also got dermatology credentials from her research stint in Melbourne. Her work has featured in prestigious journals and major media outlets including Vogue, Grazia, The Telegraph, and Cosmopolitan. During the pandemic, Dr Jane was a frontline doc at Soho’s Covid-19 escalation centre, featured regularly on radio and online sharing her firsthand experiences.

Dr Anand Patel

Dr Anand’s journey is unique. Qualifying in 2000 from Kings College London, he took a detour into teaching sex education before returning to medicine and becoming a GP in 2008. He now balances GP work in South London with a specialist role at Harley Street’s Centre for Men’s Health, focusing on sexual function, testosterone, and men’s health issues.

He’s one of the UK’s first doctors to gain the Fellowship of the European Committee of Sexual Medicine and sits on the British Society of Sexual Medicine board. He trains GPs to comfortably discuss sex-related topics with patients. Dr Anand also co-hosts “The Pleasure Podcast,” covering everything from queer and feminist sex to sexuality in the South Asian community.

Dr Tosin Ajayi-Sotubo

London-based Dr Tosin works both NHS and private GP roles, with a keen interest in public and women’s health and preventative care. She holds a MBChB from Manchester and a Diploma in Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.

Founder of Mind Body Doctor, an online platform educating and inspiring healthy living, Tosin was named a UK NHS Clinical Entrepreneur for her innovative work at the intersection of healthcare and technology.
