Mystery Clothes Found on Eastney Beach Spark Police Appeal
Police are hunting for clues after a pile of men’s clothes was found dumped on Eastney Esplanade beach on the morning of December 6. The strange discovery was made near the Coffee Cup café and the pitch and putt golf course.
What Was Found?
- Brown leather jacket
- Grey polo shirt
- Dark grey fleece jogging bottoms
- White Slazenger trainers (size 10)
- Vaping stick
Officers have conducted thorough searches and are checking if anyone matching the clothes is reported missing.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
Detective Constable David Sheppard of Fratton CID said: “If you recognise these clothes and can identify the owner, please call 101 quoting 44160459352. You might have seen a man sitting alone on the beach that morning – if so, get in touch.”
