Flight EZY439 was scheduled to depart Glasgow at 11:50am, bound for Jersey with an expected arrival of 1:25pm. But barely minutes after leaving the runway, the plane suddenly turned around and headed straight back to base.
EasyJet confirmed the unexpected return was due to “extraordinary circumstances,” citing a “crew welfare issue” as the cause.
