Staff Car Park Sealed Off as Hazmat Experts Rush In

Police and London Fire Brigade teams arrived at the Stirling Way site shortly before 5am on 3 January 2021. Strict control zones have been established with police stopping all public access. The Incident Commander has called in the DIM unit — a specialist team trained to detect, identify and monitor chemical, biological, or radiological hazards to maintain safety and manage cordons.

Hospital Operations Unaffected, No Injuries Reported

Despite the emergency, the hospital continues to operate as normal. There are no reports of staff or patients being hurt. Authorities, including The Met Police and London Fire Brigade, have been approached for comment.
