Families Fear the Worst as Devoted Mum Paige Kelly Vanishes Without a Trace
Last Seen Leaving Baby at Boyfriend’s in Greater Manchester
Paige Kelly, 27, a loving mum, has been missing for six days, sparking mounting fear among her family. The young mother disappeared after texting her aunt asking if she could stay over – but she never arrived.
On Tuesday, Paige left her infant son at her boyfriend’s house in Leigh, Greater Manchester, before vanishing. Her aunt Kate told us, “We’re really worried now. It’s so unlike her to disappear.”
“Her son is her everything. She’s kind and caring – everyone loves her. She’s very private.”
Kate added, “Paige doesn’t have a bad bone in her body. For her to disappear like this, leaving her son behind, is totally out of character.”
Family Frustrated as Police Search Stalls
The family have taken matters into their own hands, handing out missing posters at bus stations and chasing every lead. But frustrations are growing over the police response.
“I gave police an address to check, but was told the case handler wasn’t available,” said Kate. “I even raised concerns about her mental health, but no one searched her home.”
Paige’s last message to her aunt hinted she wanted to “get away.” Her phone has been off since, making her location impossible to track. She was last seen wearing a grey jacket and scarf.
Son Shielded From The Media Storm
To protect Paige’s baby from the mounting social media attention, the family have pulled him from school. He is now with a relative, supported by social services for his safety.
Kate made a heartfelt plea: “Please contact me, Paige. You have a family ready to love and support you. We just want to help.”
“We lost her brother ten years ago. Having Paige back would mean the world. We have so many memories – it’s heartbreaking to worry like this.”
