Family Pays Heartbreaking Tribute to Star Tomkins After Fatal Feltham Crash

The family of Star Tomkins has spoken out following her tragic death in a horrific crash near Feltham Young Offenders Institution. Star, remembered as having a “heart of gold,” was one of three victims killed when a car smashed into a bus on April 1st.

‘Beloved Daughter with a Heart of Gold’

In a moving statement, Star’s family shared their grief:

“It is with very heavy hearts that we share the unexpected passing of Star Tomkins. She was a beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, and best friend. She had a heart of gold and will be deeply missed by many.”

The tragic crash occurred just before midnight on Bedfont Road when the car collided with an H26 bus beneath a narrow railway bridge. Both vehicles burst into flames. Alongside Star, two others in the car lost their lives. A fourth passenger survived but was injured.

Community Rallies for Funeral Costs

The devastated family now face unexpected funeral expenses. They’ve called on the community for help to give Star the send-off she deserves.

“We are asking for donations to help cover the costs of the funeral and memorial service, so we can give Star a send-off that honours her life, which was tragically cut short. Any amount you can contribute will be greatly appreciated.”

Meanwhile, two bus passengers were hospitalised with non-life-threatening injuries, and other passengers received on-the-spot treatment.

Shock and Support Flood Feltham

Flowers and tributes have been left at the crash site as friends and neighbours mourn the young lives lost. The community remains stunned by the sudden tragedy.

Claire Mann, COO of Transport for London, said:

“Our thoughts are with the family and friends of those who tragically lost their lives. This is a devastating incident, and we are working closely with the police as the investigation continues.”

Investigation Underway, Witnesses Urged to Come Forward

The Metropolitan Police continue their inquiry and have closed local roads. Authorities are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.

To support Star’s family, donations can be made online via a dedicated funeral fund. The family has thanked the community for their kindness and support during this heartbreaking time.
