Tragic M20 Crash Claims Man’s Life
A man in his 30s has died after a deadly smash on the M20 coastbound near the Swanley Interchange.
Chain Reaction Collision
The horror crash happened just after 12:50am on December 21. A white Volkswagen Beetle crashed into the safety barrier and stopped on the hard shoulder. Right behind was a white Scania tanker, which came to a halt. Then tragedy struck.
A blue BMW 535 smashed into the stationary tanker. The BMW driver, a man from Ashford in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police Hunt Witnesses and Dashcam Footage
Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit are urging anyone who saw the crashes or the vehicles involved before the incident to come forward.
They’re especially keen on any dashcam footage from drivers around that time.
