Blaze Breaks Out at Slough Holiday Inn Express

Emergency crews rushed to a high-rise fire at the Holiday Inn Express on Mill Street, Slough, just before 8pm on Wednesday, May 28. Flames erupted in one of the hotel rooms, sparking a huge response.

Massive Fire Response from Three Counties

Fire and rescue teams from Royal Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, and London sprang into action. Crews from Slough, Maidenhead, Gerrards Cross, and Ascot all attended the scene to tackle the blaze.

The fire remained contained to the upper floors. Thankfully, no injuries have been reported so far. The cause of the fire remains unknown.

Hotel Evacuated as Precaution

Guests were evacuated safely while firefighters conducted checks and ventilated the affected floor. Authorities say an investigation into what sparked the fire will begin once the situation is fully under control.
