Massive Warehouse Blaze on Essex-Hertfordshire Border Sparks Huge Emergency Response
Firefighters are battling a major warehouse fire on Stubbins Hall Lane in Nazeing, right on the Essex-Hertfordshire border. The alarm was raised at 11am, and crews remain at the scene trying to get the inferno under control.
Fire Crews Mobilised from Across the Region
Multiple fire teams have been dispatched, including units from Waltham Abbey, Loughton, Epping, Harlow, Cheshunt, Hertford, and Enfield. Specialist kit like an Aerial Ladder Platform from Grays, a Water Bowser from Corringham, and an Incident Command Unit from Witham are in action.
Group Manager Mark Eaglestone said: “Three industrial units are fully ablaze. Crews are making good progress, but we expect to be here for several hours. We’re working closely with the Environment Agency to protect local waterways and Essex Police, who have shut several nearby roads.”
