Firefighters Rescue Pony Trapped in Godshill Farmyard
A daring animal rescue unfolded this afternoon in Godshill as Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue crews rushed to save a pony stuck in a farmyard.
Pony Wedged on Munsley Lane
At around 1.29pm, fire teams from Newport and Ryde were called to Munsley Lane after the pony fell and became trapped in a yard.
Vet Joins Firefighters in Hour-Long Rescue
A vet was quickly summoned to assist the brave firefighters. Together, they worked for about an hour to free the distressed pony.
The pony is now recovering from its ordeal, thanks to the quick response of emergency crews and animal experts.
