Firefighters from Southsea rushed to a bedroom fire on Haslemere Road this evening. A man who spotted the flames tried to fight the blaze before the crews arrived.
Man Suffers Smoke Inhalation
He was exposed to smoke but has been checked and treated for inhalation. Thankfully, no serious injuries were reported.

The fire is now fully extinguished. Fire crews thoroughly checked the property and confirmed it is safe to stay in.
