Four More Arrested After Brutal Boscombe Stabbing

Detectives have made a fresh haul in the investigation of a serious stabbing in Bournemouth. Four more suspects were arrested following the savage attack on two teenage boys in Boscombe Spa Road.

Teen Boys Stabbed in Broad Daylight

At 1:02pm on Monday 15 July 2019, police were called after two boys aged 16 and 17 were stabbed. The victims were attacked by a group of males who fled the scene.

Emergency crews treated the boys at the scene before rushing them to hospital. Thankfully, their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Multiple Arrests as Manhunt Intensifies

  • Three men arrested on suspicion of attempted murder on the day of the attack – a 17-year-old and 25-year-old from London, plus a 26-year-old man with no fixed address – have been released under investigation.
  • On Tuesday evening (16 July), armed officers swooped on an address in Windham Road, Bournemouth, arresting two men and two women suspected of attempted murder and assisting offenders.

All four remain in police custody assisting with enquiries as the investigation continues.

Police Call for Witnesses After Violent Attack

“As a result of ongoing enquiries officers arrested a further four individuals at an address in Windham Road in Bournemouth,” said Detective Sergeant Mark White of Bournemouth CID.

“A cordon remains in place while investigations continue. We urge anyone who was in the Boscombe Spa Road area at the time and hasn’t spoken to police to come forward.”

Residents near Boscombe Spa Road and Windham Road will see a heightened police presence as officers work to close the case.
