Three Fire Crews Rush to Southsea Hospital Blaze
Emergency services sprang into action this evening as three fire crews from Southsea were dispatched to St James Hospital. The call came in just after 6.30pm from the Somers Road Fire Station.
Microwave Fire at Mental Health Unit
The fire broke out in a microwave inside one of the hospital’s mental health units. Thankfully, no patients or staff were injured in the incident.
Quick Response Controls Blaze
Firefighters spent around 40 minutes on the scene, swiftly bringing the fire under control and ensuring the safety of everyone at the hospital.
