Massive Fire Breaks Out at Heston Industrial Mall in Hounslow
Firefighters raced to tackle a huge blaze tearing through a unit at Heston Industrial Mall tonight. Six fire engines, including two aerial ladder platforms and two fire rescue units, were deployed to battle the inferno.
The alarm was raised just after 9.30pm when flames engulfed a food processing business on Church Road. Fire crews say 80% of the unit is already consumed by the well-developed fire.

Huge concerns have been raised about thick smoke billowing from the blaze. The mall sits directly beneath Heathrow Airport’s flight path and close to the busy M4 motorway, sparking fears over air and road safety.
