Blaze razes Hove bedroom — but everyone escapes unscathed!

Firefighters race to Davigdor Road inferno

At 5.41pm on January 2, East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service (ESFRS) rushed to a bedroom fire in a Hove home on Davigdor Road. Flames had erupted on the second floor, sparking a rapid response from crews.

ESFRS tackled the blaze using breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet, swiftly bringing the fire under control. The service confirmed the fire is now out and the emergency operation is winding down.

All accounted for – no injuries reported

Thankfully, every occupant was safely evacuated with no injuries reported. The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
