False Alarm Sparks Massive Isle of Wight Fire Response
The Isle of Wight Fire & Rescue team raced to Jubilee Stores at Newport Harbour this afternoon after reports of a fire. But it was all a false alarm.

At just after 4.30pm on Wednesday, two fire engines from Ryde, one from Newport, plus a specialist Aerial Ladder Platform and Command & Control unit were scrambled to the scene. Thankfully, no blaze was found.
