Blaze Destroys Five Balconies in West Hampstead Flats
Eight fire engines and 58 firefighters rushed to tackle a fierce blaze at a block of flats on Heritage Lane, West Hampstead. The fire destroyed five balconies before crews brought it under control.
Massive Emergency Response
The London Fire Brigade’s 999 control officers took a staggering 40 calls about the fire. The emergency was reported at 11:25am, and firefighters had the flames under control by 1:10pm.
Crews from All Around Join the Fight
Firefighters from West Hampstead, Paddington, Willesden, and nearby stations worked together to douse the flames. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
