Refuse Lorry Blaze Sparks Major Response in Hove

Three Fire Engines and Rescue Unit Battle Flames
Three fire engines from Hove and Preston Circus, along with a Technical Rescue Unit, tackled the raging fire. Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used a main jet, hose reel jet, and thermal imaging cameras to fight the blaze.
Residents Told to Seal Up and Steer Clear
Authorities warned locals to avoid the area and to seal their windows and doors for safety. By 10:37 am, crews had made positive progress in containing the fire.
