Firefighters Rescue French Bulldog Stuck in Tin

A six-month-old French Bulldog named Bo found himself in a sticky situation at Basildon Fire Station on Friday evening.

Bo’s owner rushed him to the station around 6.45pm after the pup got his head stuck in a tin. Fire crews quickly sprang into action, using delicate tools to free him. Thankfully, Bo walked away unharmed.

“This wasn’t your usual call-out, but when Bo and his owner arrived, we knew we could help,” said Howard Midwood, Watch Manager at Basildon Fire Station.

“I’m proud of our firefighters for their professional work releasing Bo swiftly and safely. We’re glad Bo made it home without a scratch. Let’s just hope he stays away from milk formula tins in future!”
