Kent Fire and Rescue Service (KFRS) received the emergency call at 7.40pm. Four fire engines and a team of firefighters arrived quickly. Wearing breathing apparatus, they battled the flames with high-pressure hose reels and main jets to bring the fire under control.

Despite valiant efforts, the blaze tragically claimed the lives of two dogs, a cat, and a rabbit inside the property. One occupant needed urgent medical attention for smoke inhalation and was taken to hospital by South East Coast Ambulance Service.
