Chaos Erupts at Napier Barracks as Migrants Riot and Torch Buildings
Violence broke out today at Napier Barracks when illegal immigrants went on a destructive spree. They smashed up the facilities, threatened staff with knives, and set parts of the ex-military site on fire.
Smoke, Fire Engines, and Riot Police Called In
Thick smoke billowed from the barracks as eight fire engines rushed to the scene. Police in full riot gear and ambulances also responded to the emergency after migrants turned hostile and aggressive.
Staff were forced to barricade themselves in rooms to stay safe. One anonymous staff member revealed, “Many of the residents became very angry and violent. Some were furious they had to stay in the camp while others had been moved to hotels.”
Napier Barracks—A Trouble Spot for Migrants
- This is not the first time tensions have boiled over at Napier Barracks.
- Migrants have protested repeatedly, claiming the accommodations are unfit for living.
- A day before the riot, far-left activists doused the gates in fake blood to highlight conditions.
- No injuries have been reported so far, but the risk to staff and residents was severe.
Political Fallout and Public Outrage
Home Secretary Priti Patel condemned the violence in a statement, promising action. Meanwhile, social media is ablaze with calls for the migrants’ asylum claims to be halted and for deportations. Many argue the barracks housing, once fit for soldiers, has been unfairly targeted.
