Five Years On: Still No Sign of Missing Woman Gillian from Patcham
Gillian vanished without a trace after leaving her Patcham home for a walk on August 23, 2017. She never returned and was reported missing the very next day.
The Search That Never Stopped
Police have been on the hunt for Gillian ever since. Now, over five years later, authorities are renewing their appeal for any information to help crack the case.
What She Was Wearing and Who She Is
- Age at disappearance: 50 (would be 54 now)
- Height: 5’6″
- Build: Medium
- Hair: Shoulder-length brown
- Clothes: Thin blue or grey 3/4 sleeve top, grey ‘stone’ effect Peter Storm waterproof jacket, brown ankle boots, knitted grey scarf
- Accessories: Small grey Karriemor rucksack
Police Plea: Every Tip Counts
“When Gillian was reported missing five years ago an investigation was immediately launched into her disappearance, and our commitment to finding her has not dimmed,” said PC AJ Funnell of Brighton and Hove’s Missing Persons Team. “Anybody who has any information which could help with the investigation, no matter how small you may feel it is, please report it to us online or by calling 101.”
