Members of the London Fire Brigade, including Paddington’s own Green Watch, joined Wicks for a high-octane workout session. The firefighters and staff broke a sweat and tackled topics like fitness, mental health, and work-life balance with the fitness ace.

After the sweat session, Joe got hands-on with some serious firefighter tech, climbing a 32-metre turntable ladder to get a real taste of life on the frontline. It was a vivid reminder of the tough demands these emergency heroes face daily.

Fire Brigade Praises Mental Health Boost

Station Officer Kelly-Ann Marchant, the event organiser, said:

“As London Fire Brigade members, keeping our mental health and physical fitness top-notch is critical given the pressure of our jobs. This event was a brilliant chance for the whole team to focus on well-being. It was uplifting and positive all round. Joe was brilliant—engaging and supportive—sharing his expert tips with us. We can’t wait to do more.”

The event highlighted the vital role of fitness and mental resilience for emergency workers and showed the Brigade’s strong commitment to looking after their team’s health.
