Blaze on the Motorway: Fire Crews Rescue Lambs From Flaming Trailer
Two fire engines raced to the scene as a trailer carrying lambs caught fire on the carriageway. Firefighters, decked out in breathing apparatus, blasted the flames with hose reel jets to bring the blaze under control.
Lambs Saved, No Injuries Reported
Thankfully, no one was hurt. The lambs were quickly removed to safety before the fire was doused. Once it was safe, crews helped load the animals back into the trailer.
Road Reopened After Firefighters’ Swift Action
The carriageway was temporarily shut while firefighters battled the blaze. Officers from the Highways Agency and Kent Police were on hand to assist. The road has now reopened, and traffic is moving freely again.
