Lance Corporal Sarah Holmes, 26, from Wantage, has died in Selly Oak Hospital, Birmingham, following a horrific road traffic accident in Qatar. The incident occurred 11 days earlier at Al Udeid Airbase.
Serving Her Country on Operation TELIC
Sarah was part of the 29 Postal Courier and Movement Regiment. She had recently transferred from Basra, Southern Iraq, to Doha, Qatar, where she managed the Forces Postal Service at Al Udeid Airfield over the summer.
