M20 Shut After Early Morning HGV Crash Near Wrotham
Kent Police and Highways England have shut all four lanes of the M20 London-bound near Wrotham after a crash involving two HGVs in thick fog just after 4am on Sunday.
Major Recovery Operation Underway
The smash happened between junctions three and two in the smart motorway section. The entire stretch is closed for a major recovery and clean-up, with debris scattered across the carriageway.
Two large recovery trucks are on scene, working to clear the wreckage. Luckily, no injuries have been reported.
Drivers Diverted onto M26
Traffic is being rerouted via the M26 as crews tackle the mess. Kent Police have been approached for comment on the incident.
