Huge Fire Brigade Response in Aldgate

The London Fire Brigade raced to Leman Street just before 5:45pm after a fire broke out in a fifth-floor flat. At the peak of the chaos, around 100 firefighters and 15 fire engines battled the fierce flames.

Video footage shows bright orange flames swallowing one apartment as thick black smoke billowed to the upper floors. The fire also spread to a seventh-floor flat, the fire brigade confirmed.

Crews from Whitechapel, Shadwell, Shoreditch, Dowgate, Bethnal Green and neighbouring stations were called in, deploying a 64-metre turntable ladder for a strategic aerial outlook.

Prestigious Goodman’s Fields Development in Peril

Goodman’s Fields is a high-end, award-winning development, famed for luxury living and a vibrant city lifestyle just minutes from the City of London. A two-bedroom flat here recently sold for a whopping £1.1 million.

The complex sits on the former Royal Mail sorting office site and symbolizes Aldgate’s rise as one of London’s prime residential hotspots.

Cause Unknown as Firefighters Launch Urgent Rescue

Public Told to Steer Clear as Operations Continue

Leman Street and nearby roads are sealed off while emergency teams work tirelessly. Police are helping manage crowds and keep the area safe.
