Detectives have charged a 21-year-old man following a suspicious car fire at Locks Heath Centre. The blaze erupted around 3.45pm on Sunday, June 12.

Arson With Intent to Endanger Life

Chad Dendy, from Drake Close, Locks Heath, faces a serious arson charge. He’s accused of setting the fire with the intent to endanger lives.

No Bail, Court Appearance Set

Dendy was denied bail and is being held in police custody overnight. He is set to appear at portsmouth/" title="Portsmouth" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court on the morning of Tuesday, June 14.
