Tragic Pedestrian Death Shuts M4 Between Junctions 5 and 6
Thames Valley Police are probing a fatal smash on the M4 westbound near junctions 5 and 6. The horror crash happened around 3.45am when a heavy goods vehicle struck a pedestrian between the hard shoulder and lane one.
M4 Remains Closed Amid Ongoing Investigation
The motorway remains shut in this stretch as officers from the Serious Collisions Investigations Unit work the scene. They are appealing for witnesses to come forward. Anyone who saw the crash should call 101 and quote URN 91 (19/11).
Victim’s Identity Still Unknown
The pedestrian has tragically died but police have yet to identify the victim. Efforts continue to confirm their identity and notify next of kin.
