Tragic Death as Man Mowed Down on Southampton Pedestrian Crossing
A 29-year-old man has died after a serious collision on a pedestrian crossing in Southampton last Friday. Jakub Seniuk was hit by a blue BMW while crossing Inner Avenue and later succumbed to his injuries in hospital.
Fatal Crash on Inner Avenue
Police were called at around 4:15pm on December 2 to reports of a collision between a pedestrian and a black BMW 535 near the junction with Rockstone Place.
Jakub Seniuk, from Bellevue Terrace, Southampton, suffered life-threatening injuries and died the following day.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
Sergeant Andy Noble of the Roads Policing Unit said: “We are investigating the circumstances surrounding this incident which has resulted in Jakub losing his life. If you witnessed the incident, or anything leading up to it, please contact the investigating team immediately.”
