Flasher on the Loose in Crawley Down and Tilgate Woods
Police are hunting a pervert behind a string of indecent exposure incidents in Crawley Down and Tilgate Woods since March 2024.
Four Shocking Sightings Since March
- First incident: March 18, 2024, near Worth Way, Crawley Down
- Three more incidents in Tilgate Woods: June 13, July 22, and July 24, 2024
- All took place early mornings between 7:30am and 10am
Police Description: Slim White Man in Tights, Sometimes Masked
Witnesses describe the suspect as a slim white man wearing tights. In some sightings, he was also masked, raising fears in the local community.
Investigation Underway – Police Urge Residents to Speak Up
Detective Constable Alicia Smith said, “We understand the community’s concerns. We have launched a full investigation to catch this suspect. If you have any information, footage, or have seen suspicious behaviour, please contact police online or call 101 quoting Operation Marmion.”
Residents are urged to stay vigilant and report anything suspicious immediately to help police crack the case.
