The Met Police have launched an investigation after a Lamborghini, hired from Limehouse Hand Car Wash, was involved in a massive five-vehicle collision in East London. The smash forced the closure of Prestons Road both ways, causing long tailbacks queuing into the Blackwell Tunnel during rush hour.

£180,000 Supercar Linked to Hit-and-Run

The Lamborghini’s owner, Andrew, is said to be “gutted” as his prized £180,000 supercar was caught up in the chaos. A friend revealed that airbags deployed and the vehicle’s GPS tracker showed the driver fled the scene. Police are now treating the crash as a hit-and-run and hope to identify the driver using DNA recovered from the car’s airbag.

Uber Driver Raced and Rammed by Lamborghini

A shaken Uber driver recalled how the Lamborghini Huracan appeared to race a black Mercedes before crashing into his car. Firefighters from the London Fire Brigade were forced to free his passenger, who suffered neck and arm injuries. She was rushed to hospital, while the Uber driver escaped with minor injuries.
