Five-Car Smash Sparks Rush Hour Chaos in East London
A high-octane crash involving a hired Lamborghini from Limehouse’s Hand Car Wash has sparked rush hour mayhem in East London. The smash-up involved five vehicles and left one person in hospital as police launch a full investigation.
Traffic Nightmare at Blackwall Tunnel
Prestons Road is closed both ways following the collision, causing massive tailbacks as cars queue to enter the Blackwall Tunnel. The owner of the Lamborghini, Andrew, is reportedly devastated — things haven’t been going well for him lately.
Hit and Run Probe Underway
A friend of Andrew revealed that airbags were deployed in the crash, triggering alerts while tracking the car. The whopper of a supercar is valued at around £180,000. Police are now treating the incident as a hit and run and have collected DNA from the airbags to identify the driver.
Uber Driver Left Shaken
One terrified Uber driver told how the Lamborghini Huracan was racing a black Mercedes before smashing into his vehicle. Firefighters had to rescue his passenger, who was sent to hospital with a neck injury and arm damage. The driver suffered minor injuries.
The Met’s Roads Police unit is currently investigating. Traffic delays remain while the inquiry continues. The Met Police have been contacted for comment.
