Student nurse Owami Davies, who vanished from south London nearly eight weeks ago, has been found safe and well in Hampshire. The 24-year-old, originally from Grays, Essex, was discovered after a lengthy police search and widespread public appeals.

The Metropolitan Police confirmed her safe return following an exhaustive investigation. “This is clearly the outcome we hoped for the family of missing lady Owami Davies,” the Met said in a statement. Officers worked tirelessly around the clock, following thousands of leads to locate her.

Owami was found outside London, in Hampshire,” said police spokesperson. “She is now in the care of specialist officers, and I can confidently say she is safe and well.”
