Morrisons has called time on its current logistics contract, announcing a major shake-up for its transport operations.

Logistics Move to Eddie Stobart

In a message to managers on 16 March, Morrisons revealed the contract had ended. From now on, all transport operations in Stockton, Wakefield, Gadbrook, and Willow Green will be handed over to Eddie Stobart, part of the Culina Group.

Planning Teams Return to Morrisons

Meanwhile, the planning teams at these sites will shift back under Morrisons’ direct control, the message confirmed.

Support for Staff Transfers

The supermarket assured staff it will back the TUPE transfer process alongside Eddie Stobart and Wincanton to ensure a smooth transition for all transport and planning team members.
