Eastbourne’s Meads Street Post Office Set for Grand Re-Opening
Good news for Eastbourne locals! Caroline Ansell MP has confirmed that the Meads Street Post Office will re-open at 1pm on December 7th.
The new branch will be located inside the “Welcome Store,” taking over the spot once held by the Co-Op. Shoppers can expect the full suite of Post Office services back in action.
Community Effort Brings Back Vital Local Service
Ansell praised the key players behind the reopening. She thanked Meads councillors Jane Lamb and Robert Smart, as well as the Meads Community Association for their hard work.
Special mention went to Rev Giles Carpenter, who hosted a temporary post office service until August at St John the Evangelical Church on St John’s Road.
“Their dedication ensured this essential service stayed alive for our community,” said Ansell.
