Massive Recall: Nestlé’s AERO Hot Chocolate Potentially Hazardous
Nestlé UK is urgently recalling several AERO Hot Chocolate products after discovering they may contain small pieces of food-grade silica beads. These are not safe to eat and pose a risk to consumers.
Which Products Are Affected?
- AERO Hot Choc Jars – 288g, all batch codes and best before dates
- AERO ‘Hot Choc’ Sachets – 24g, all batch codes and best before dates
- AERO GO Instant ‘Hot Choc’ – 28g, all batch codes and best before dates
This recall only affects AERO Hot 1 products. No other AERO products are involved.
What Nestlé Says
“Nestlé sets very high standards for the quality of its products and any packs affected by this issue clearly fall short of those standards. This relates only to AERO Hot 1 and does not affect any other AERO products,” the company said.
