West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service has bagged a top appointment. Dr Sabrina Cohen-Hatton is stepping in as the new Chief Fire Officer, bringing 18 years of hard-hitting fire service experience to the role.
From London to Surrey: A Stellar Firefighting Career
Dr Cohen-Hatton’s fire career spans senior gigs at London Fire Brigade, South Wales Fire and Rescue, Welsh Government, and most recently, Interim Deputy Chief Fire Officer for Surrey Fire and Rescue Service. She’s also shaped national fire policies at HMICFRS and the National Fire Chiefs Council.
Fierce and Smart: Firefighter Meets Chartered Psychologist
Not your average fire boss, Sabrina is a chartered psychologist. Her groundbreaking research into how firefighters make split-second decisions has grabbed attention worldwide.
