Tragic Death of 81-Year-Old Colin Riddett on Railway Tracks
Shortly before 10pm on 8 September, officers rushed to the scene after reports of a casualty on the railway tracks.
Paramedics attended, but sadly, 81-year-old Colin Riddett was pronounced dead at the site. Police confirmed the incident is not being treated as suspicious.
Who Was Colin Riddett?
Born in portsmouth/" title="Portsmouth" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Portsmouth, Mr Riddett lived primarily in Hackney, London, and kept a second home in Portsmouth. Despite thorough investigations, officers have yet to locate any next of kin or family members to break the heartbreaking news.

The British Transport Police (BTP) are urgently seeking anyone who may know Mr Riddett’s relatives or possess information about his family. Authorities ask for the public’s help to support their ongoing investigation.
