Elderly Woman Hit by Car Reversing Outside Fish and Chips Shop
A local woman in her 70s was struck by a car reversing outside Daniels Fish and Chips on Lower Blandford Road at 5.30pm on Friday, 20 November 2020. The vehicle, believed to be black or dark-coloured, was driven by a woman.
Victim Left Bruised and Shaken
The victim suffered bruising and was left shaken after the incident. No further details about the driver or vehicle have been released.
Police Appeal for Witnesses and Driver to Come Forward
Police Constable James Crocker of Poole police said: “We are investigating this collision and have been checking CCTV footage. Two men witnessed the crash and even banged on the car’s window. We want to hear from them directly to get their account.”
He added, “I urge the driver involved to contact Dorset Police so we can piece together what happened.”
