Search Underway for Missing Oxted Man Last Seen Near Woodland
Police in Surrey are urgently hunting for Jacek Tarkowski, 47, who vanished near High Ridge Farm on Red Lane, just south of Oxted. He was last spotted heading home at 2.30pm on July 23 but never arrived.
Worries Grow for Man Not Familiar With Area
Officers fear for Jacek’s safety as he’s not thought to know the local woodland well. Inspector Joe Easterbrook said:
“We have had a number of officers carrying out enquiries today to look for Jacek but now we need the public’s help to piece together his movements.”
Police believe he may be lost in woodland around Red Lane. They are scouring the area as it’s a hotspot for walkers and dog owners. Inspector Easterbrook urged anyone who has been there in the last 24 hours to come forward.
What Jacek Was Wearing
- Black t-shirt with white Polish writing
- Grey shirt tied around his waist
- Dark trousers or jeans
Jacek is 5ft 8in, medium build, with dark hair.
