Young Man Vanishes in Eastwood – Police Plead for Dashcam Footage

Abdul, 25, was last spotted over a month ago on Sunday, 12 February, in Eastwood. The clock stopped ticking on Abdul’s movements when CCTV caught him at 6:33pm that evening, crossing Eldon Road and heading into Eastwood Park, dressed all in black.

Trail Goes Cold After Eastwood Park Sighting

Despite scouring hours of CCTV and pounding the streets door-to-door, police have no clue where Abdul went next. It’s thought he might have left the park by walking along the canal towpath towards either the train station or Rotherham town centre.

Officers Hunt for Clues, Urge Locals to Check Cameras

On Saturday 11 January, officers hit Parkgate Shopping Park, Fitzwilliam Road shops, and Eastwood Park to question security staff, locals, and shoppers. They’re back again today (Monday 13 January), eager to speak with anyone who might hold missing puzzle pieces.

“If you see our officers out and about, come and say hello,” said Superintendent Andy Wright. “Maybe someone saw Abdul that night or caught him on their car dashcam. Even tiny details could break this wide-open case and bring him home.”

“Abdul’s family are desperate and we’re throwing every resource into finding him.”

Family Calls for Abdul’s Safe Return

Abdul’s family described him as “generous and honest,” admitting their lives feel incomplete without him. They pleaded directly to Abdul: “If you’re listening, please get in touch. We want nothing more than to have you home safe where you belong.”
