Pensioner Mugged for £5K Rolex and Gold Lighter on Lymington Bench
Police are hunting two suspects after a 70-year-old pensioner was robbed in broad daylight in Lymington, New Forest. The shocking snatch happened at 11am on Tuesday, October 18, on St Thomas Street near St Thomas Church.
Watch and Lighter Stolen in Brazen Daylight Robbery
The victim was sitting peacefully on a bench when two men crept up from behind and grabbed a £4,500 Rolex watch and a £700 gold Dupont cigarette lighter. Both suspects then made a swift getaway.
Suspect Description and Police Appeal
- One man wore a red top and grey jogging bottoms.
- Police want to hear from anyone who saw two men talking to an elderly man nearby at the time.
