Teenager Dies After Stabbing in Market Place

Police raced to Market Place near the busy Oxford Street junction at 5.38pm on Saturday, August 8, after reports of a brutal stabbing.

Officers found a teenage boy with a severe stab wound. He was rushed to a central London hospital by the London Ambulance Service but tragically died at 7.33pm.

The victim’s identity is yet to be confirmed, but his family have been informed.
