Blaze Breaks Out at Broadstairs Flat
Kent Fire and Rescue Service rushed to a fire at a flat on High Street in Broadstairs, Thanet.
Three Engines Battle Flames
Three fire engines arrived swiftly. Firefighters donned breathing apparatus and tackled the blaze with main jets and hose reel jets. They then used a high-powered fan to clear smoke from the first-floor property.
One Treated for Smoke Inhalation
Crews gave oxygen to one person suffering from suspected smoke inhalation before handing them over to SECAmb ambulance staff.
Cause of Fire Still Unknown
Investigations are ongoing to determine what sparked the fire.
