Cash Thieves Target Leicester ATM in Dead of Night

Leicester detectives are on the hunt after crooks smashed an ATM on Sturdee Road in the early hours. Police were called at 3:54am to find the machine damaged and cash stolen. The door of the nearby premises was also hit during the raid.

Officers arrived quickly to find the scene wrecked and empty tills. While the exact amount taken remains under wraps, the stolen cash has sparked a full investigation. Detectives are desperate for leads to track down the offenders.

Call for Witnesses and Footage

Detective Sergeant Dan Lester urged locals to come forward. “We’ve been piecing together what happened this morning,” he said. “If you saw or heard anything suspicious, now’s the time to speak up. CCTV, dashcam, or even doorbell footage could be the key to cracking this.”
