Teen Injured in Boxing Day Crash in Poole
A 17-year-old girl suffered very serious injuries after a collision on Boxing Day in Poole. The crash happened at 1:01am on Banks Road, involving a black Mercedes and a grey BMW.
Victim and Driver Taken to Hospital
The teenager was a passenger in the Mercedes and was rushed to hospital. The car’s driver was also taken in for checks as a precaution. Banks Road was temporarily closed while police investigated the scene.
Police Hunt Witnesses and Dashcam Footage
Inspector Craig Tatton from the Roads Policing Team appealed for help. He said, “I am appealing for any witnesses who have not yet spoken with police to please come forward. Also, I would urge anyone with dashcam in the area to check for any footage that might assist our inquiries.”
Tatton thanked the public for their patience during the road closure, stressing it was essential for a thorough investigation.
