Police given more time to Question Man Following Southampton Murder

Detectives investigating the murder of Michael Freshwater in Southampton on Friday, April 29 have been granted an extension to question a 26-year-old man. The 26-year-old from Southampton was arrested on suspicion of murder yesterday (Saturday, April 30). The extension will expire tomorrow evening (Monday, May 2). A 35-year-old man from Southampton who was also arrested has been released without charge. Anyone with information relating to this incident should call police on 101, quoting Op Windless, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
